This beautiful Fine Tribal Afghan Kelim was woven by desert Nomads in the Northern region of Afghanistan.

It is all woolen construction, woven on a woolen warp and weft. The design consist of repetitious diamond shape medallions. It has a most attractive border.

A most attractive kelim with beautiful earthy colours combination; subdued terracottas, browns, blues and creams which are typical of Afghan Tribal weaving. The dyes are probably natural dyes. Room size kelims are difficult to acquire and sought after. The colours vary slightly as the wool has been hand spun and dyed.

Please note the kelims have recently been unbaled and any fold marks seen will quickly settle down.

Collectible and decorative, this Kelim is brand new, and has its whole life ahead of it.
