A circaa1880-1890 IROQUOIS BASKET BEADWORK WHIMSEY

MEASURES 3 1/2 INCHES IN HEIGHT, 4 INCHES IN LENGTH AND 3 INCHES IN WIDTH.

THIS WONDERFUL OLD WHIMSEY IS IN FINE CONDITION WITH PERHAPS A BEAD OR TWO MISSING. A COUPLE OF THE THREADS ON THE STRAPS ARE A LITTLE LOOSE WHERE THEY ATTACH TO THE BOX ITSELF..

THIS BEAUTIFUL IROQUOIS PIECE HAS BEEN IN ONE FAMILY ALL THESE YEARS AND PUT AWAY OR BEHIND GLASS.

note: I photographed the piece with the green and white beadwork straps hanging down as I didn't want to risk hanging it for the photographs and it may be displayed straps up by the buyer.
