Darrel Aune was the first maker of and is the exclusive producer of Water Buffalo Horn fire pistons with O-ring seals to Midwest Native Skills Institute in Illinois where Les Stroud of Discovery Channel‘s “Survivorman“ purchased the fire piston he used on his Alaskan episode. Please do not be deceived by a maker who slyly convinces an expert to promote a product that is not theirs, who also reappears on eBay after eBay forcefully removed them due to multiple negative feedbacks AND has had at least four different identities on eBay since 2001.
