ABOUT THESE BOOKS

Offered here are the first eight "Xanth" novels by Piers Anthony.  There are six books because one of the books, The Magic of Xanth, contains three novels.  These book club editions were the first hardcover printings of these novels.  The Magic of Xanth was published by Nelson Doubleday, and the remaining five were published by Del Rey. 

The dust jacket on each of these books has at least moderate wear and some of them have heavy wear, including two which have some paper loss at the top and/or bottom of the spine area.  The colors are still vibrant.  

The books themselves are straight and solid with strong bindings.  The boards have either little or no fading but some of them have minor stains.  The rear free endpage (the last blank page before the back cover) on several of these books has the crossed-out name and address of a former owner.  Otherwise, there is no writing, tears, or odors. 

As you can see in the photo, each dust jacket is now protected by a new, completely removable clear cover.   

Each book measures approximately 5-3/4” x 8-1/2”.
