FIne Early California Painting Listed Artist Cucaro

From my close friend's personal collection comes one of Cucaro's best paintings. This is a clown/ringmaster with a whip. The colors are outstanding and the sense of movement incredible in this little gem of a painting. Cucaro painted incessantly and there are a lot of paintings to be found by him, however a lot of them are loosely done or simply aren't the best. He definitely had his good, bad, and ugly. And then there are the few that are several steps above - and this painting is just such a piece - simply outstanding! Mesurements are 12 inches by 9 inches for the painting itself and about 15 5/8 inches by 12 5/8 inches for the painting and original frame.
