Offered is an 1850s soda or beer bottle from Philadelphia Pennsylvania.  Bottle measures approximately 7 1/8" H x 3" D and is embossed in a slug plate: GEO. W. FLANAGEN (in an arch) / BOTTLER / PHILADA // DYOTTVILLE GLASS WORKS (in an arch) / PHILADA

Iron pontil base with plenty of iron remaining.  Double collared top.  Bold and crisp embossing.  Medium green color with some lighter hues throughout, passing light beautifully.  Excellent glass character with super stretched out closed bubbles in the neck, and plenty of whittle....About MINT condition- bottle has been lightly cleaned.  Only some light, scattered wear...A beauty....Not the rarest Philly name, but hard to beat with the Bottler and Glass Works embossing....and in primo condition!
