The RDX Series radios are a Mil-spec feature packed current technology radio. They meet Military 810 C,D,E and F and IP54/55 specifications for shock, rain, humidity, salt fog, vibration, sand/dust, temperature shock, high and low temperature. In short they are totally strong and very difficult to kill. Poly-Carbonate housings are standard; typical Motorola quality that will last for years. The RDX is a user programmed radio - Each radio comes ready and pre-programmed with eight (8) simplex frequencies. Frequencies may be easily changed. Internally the RDX offers the user a choice of 27 assignable VHF business frequencies and 122 analog or digital privacy (pl) codes. These features make adding more radios later simple. The new RDX series works with all previous Motorola XTN, Mu, and CLS VHF Radios.
