DAN has been working with clay since September '06.
"Self-Taught"... he has quickly developed a
following due to his attention to detail and broad
range of style & character.

Though this artist has the ability to create pieces
from "fine art" to "folk art", he prefers to create
items that display bold movement, surface texture,
and unintentionally leans toward the whimsical.

DAN is dedicated to the long-haul, so these early works
will prove to be some of the most favored.


SIZE: 14" high by 8" wide

 MOCCASIN KETTLE
 Black Rust Moccasin.
Wheel Thrown.
Hand Altered. Raku Fired.

This is a very tall one...
The Bottle stands 11 inches, and the Black Rust Snake hovers over, peaking at 14 inches.
The kettle has a lid attached to the spout so you won't loose it.
The Snake is fired in an oxidized raku, burning out to black rust, while hints of copper and other colors come out in different light angles.
It's functional raku... the inside has been sealed with a food safe polyurethane.
