True, you can go from completely turned off, to full speed, and infinitely any point in between, with just a turn of the dial on this handsome unit.  It also allows the Wand to be controlled without removing it from the ciciloves cushion!  It is very well made, to commercial-grade specifications. Even though the typical Wand Massager is only 25 Watts or so, this unit is built to handle over 15 Amperes (is grounded/fused for your protection), and will truly stand the test of time. 

It also serves as a much-needed integrated 8-ft, 16AWG extension cord for the wand.
