Here we have for your bidding pleasure is a Ford Model 4500 Backhoe loader, we believe it to be from the mid 70's for the year but cant guarantee, it is powered by a 3 cylinder gas engine, as one can see by the pictures the machine overall is in great shape for the year. The pins in the front bucket are tight and original as are the rear. This backhoe was used for a secondary machine when needed for years. We are selling this not running, it has been sitting for the better part of 7 years, it ran well when parked, a couple of years later we tried to start it and gas ran out of the carburator, since then it sat. We put a new battery in it last week along with some gas and it turned over but will not start or fire, we do not no the problem nor have the time to find out, we feel a carburator rebuild is needed as plugs points etc. etc. We are selling this backhoe as-is, this is a no reserve auction, it is starting out at a price of what we have been offered a few times just for the backhoe unit itself, oh yes there is a broken line on the hoe unit also.
