Fossilized Dinosaur Bone Pendant

This pendant features fossilized dinosaur bone from Utah.  This 80 million year old fossil gem has rich shades of brick red, black, white, & brown.  The cellular structure has been well preserved and presents a beautiful cobble stone like pattern.

I have set this gem in one of my signature coiled settings.  A sleek, yet intricate design that can proudly be worn by a man or woman.  I have handcrafted this pendant with several strands & gauges of pure sterling silver, oxidized and buffed to a mirror polish.  The detail of the wirework is exceptional.  A fine piece of artisan jewelry sure to bring you a lifetime of compliments.

Gem Lore:
Fossilized dinosaur bone forms when the cellular tissue of dinosaur bone decays.  Over the course of millions of years, this tissue is replaced cell-by-cell with quartz and various other minerals, preserving the original structure of the bone forever!  The minerals deposited can include beautiful shades of quartz, chalcedony, agate, fluorite, apatite, and many others...creating beautiful color combinations with the original cellular patterning!  Many of these fossils still contain traces of the original dinosaur's DNA encased within their stone structure!

Each of our jewelry creations is professionally handcrafted and created to last a lifetime. We use only the highest quality pure Sterling Silver and 14K gold filled wire. Each piece is as unique as its wearer.
