This auction is for FOUR gowns that will fit the 15.5 inch Ashton Drake Gene or the Madame Alexander 16 inch Alex Fairchild Ford doll perfectly. Don't know if they'll work for Tonner dolls or not, they tend to have broader backs than Gene and Alex, but maybe. Anyway, all four ensembles have been carefully stored in my smoke-free home and have no flaws that I can see except that maybe they need a little ironing. I am offering them for just under $50 (about $12 a gown! Would you do all that sewing for $12 an outfit?).  The only one that's labelled and I'm sure about is the first gown pictured by Cindy Lorimer (CLD).  It's a gorgeous hot hot pink or fuschia gown with a lovely drape to it and a black lacy bodice that looks fabulous on a Gene doll. The original price on this outfit alone was $55. I do not know who did the other ones, unfortunately, but if somebody else does and you send me an email, I'll add the information to the bottom of this listing. You can never have too many little black dresses, so I'm including two of them in this lot - a street length sleeveless cotton or knit sheath that fits her great (closes with snaps in back) and a strapless back satiny gown. Last but not least is the delicate red gown with the vintage-looking trim and roses. IT fits great and closes with real buttons in back! It is by Pukey Mia Originals (I just found the label). I am offering all four gowns for just under $50 and they won't cost much to ship in the Continetal USA - probably $4.95 for PRiority Mail, they won't weigh much.
