What is a Fat Quarter? A Fat Quater is a quilting term for a square of fabric measuring approximately 18"x22". There are many uses for a Fat Quarter for Quilters, Sewing Projects, Crafts and even just collecting! One Fat Quarter, or FQ, measures 18"x22" (approximately), 2 measure 18"x44" (approximately) or 1/2 yard. 4 Fat Quarters equals a 1 yard piece of fabric.
If you buy 1 Fat Quarter you will receive 1 fabric square approximately 18"x22". If you buy 2 Fat Quarters you will receive 1 piece of fabric 18"x42/44" approximately. I do not cut the Fat Quarters before purchased so you will receive 1 uncut piece of fabric!!
