Photos

I never use stock photos. You will always see the coin you’re bidding on in the listing.

Shipping & Handling

Your item will be shipped on the day of or the day after payment. (If there are holidays, I’ll ship on the first day the post office is open). You will also always be informed exactly when your item ships.

Although many businesses make additional profits on shipping & handling, I find it distasteful and therefore refuse to do so. For individual raw coins it will always be 60¢ to anywhere in the U.S. and $1 to anywhere outside the U.S. 

I ship almost all my items using USPS First-Class service. However, I’m happy to purchase a different shipping service for your item at your request.

Combined Shipping

I’m happy to combine shipping and will always do so if possible (which is almost always).

Insurance

The total charge for insuring domestic items under $100 is $3 (60¢ plus a flat fee of $2.40). This is necessary because the U.S. Postal Service will not provide insurance for regular envelopes (which is how I’m usually able to keep my shipping & handling charges so low). I therefore have no choice but to mail insured items as packages, which is more expensive. Buyers are required to purchase insurance on items that sell for over $100 simply because I cannot be held accountable if the post office loses your item. Rates are as follows:

$101 to $200 ---> $3.50                     $1101 to $1200 ---> $14.00

$201 to $300 ---> $5.50                     $1201 to $1300 ---> $15.00

$301 to $400 ---> $6.50                     $1301 to $1400 ---> $16.00

$401 to $500 ---> $7.50                     $1401 to $1500 ---> $17.00

$501 to $600 ---> $8.25                     $1501 to $1600 ---> $17.75

$601 to $700 ---> $9.25                     $1601 to $1700 ---> $18.75

$701 to $800 ---> $10.25                   $1701 to $1800 ---> $19.75

$801 to $900 ---> $11.25                   $1801 to $1900 ---> $20.75

$901 to $1000 ---> $12.75                 $1901 to $2000 ---> $21.75

$1001 to $1100 ---> $13.00

For auctions that end at over $2000, insurance prices will be provided on an individual basis.

Insurance on international transactions is also available, but the rates vary widely with different services and from one country to another. I’m happy to look into this option at the buyer’s request.

Payment (or lack thereof)

I respectfully reserve the right to relist items not paid for within ten days of the end of the auction.

Returns & Refunds

If you’re unhappy in any way with your purchase, please return it to me within 30 days of receiving it and I’ll refund your entire purchase, plus your original and return shipping costs.
