FRANCK MULLER "BLACK MAGIC" 18K BLACK CASE

I read in an interview with Franck Muller that he designs watches five years in advance. While most other watch companies are designing for the next year's annual watch fairs, Franck Muller is thinking five years ahead. Black diamonds are way cool and this watch is the original to use them.

Case is rectangular, with an ergonomic curvature for comfort. Formed from 18k white gold then PVD treated for a dense, glossy black finish, the case has a double row of black diamonds that surround the dial and a single row on the lugs. Even the buckle has black diamonds inset.

This is a lady's size watch with dimensions of 32.3mm long by 23mm wide by 8mm thick.

Dial is yellow with a finely engraved guilloche texture, with black diamond formed exploding numerals. Movement is a premium quality Franck Muller quartz caliber for easy and accurate timekeeping.

In my opinion, the watch has a Salvador Dali aspect to it... the case and black diamonds have an almost molten liquid look, like the watch is dripping, well, black magic!
