Fraunfelter was formed in 1923 when Ohio Pottery and American China Products Company merged and took on the new name. They manufactured ware for several companies including Marshall Fields and Albert Pick. Royal Rochester was the trade name for the items made for Robeson Rochester. After 16 years, as Fraunfelter, the company folded in 1939.

Cobalt and Pearl is one of the most popular of the Royal Rochester patterns; it dates to 1924. The pearlized glaze is an oyster-shell off-white and soft blue with black detailing.

It is in VERY GOOD CONDITION with light to moderate wear and soiling; no chips or cracks with the exception of one on the underside of the lid; occasional glaze pop; some wear to black on the rim. Footed metal stand has wonderful design on it too - this is a beautiful piece in a hard to find pattern!
