My name is Jeff Hughart. I am a self taught and self representing artist. I sell my paintings in gallery shows, on my website and by appointment from my private studio in Bonners Ferry, Idaho. I also create well priced smaller paintings, works on paper, and high-quality giclee prints especially to sell on eBay. I do this because offering my work on eBay permits me to introduce myself and my work to a worldwide audience of art lovers.

My paintings are described as raw, emotional, colorful and energetic. No doubt that they are influenced by my punk rock past. My paintings are also influenced by the work of some of my favorite artists—Basquiat, Matisse, Picasso, Dubuffet, Twombly, Gary Panter, Warhol, Pollack, Lucien Freud, Diebenkorn, Francis Bacon, etc.
