FRENCH THERMOMETER 40's IRIS LIGHTBULBS CENTIGRADE WORKS

Vintage French Advertising Publicity for Iris Lightbulbs (Lampe Iris) from the early 1940's. This is laminated cardboard with a little hanging loop on the back, and an attached working centigrade theremometer. OVERALL SIZE: 8.25 inches x 5 inches. The thermometer reads accurately and it is marked to read in Centigrade, not Farenheit. There a little bit of minor buckling of the color image under the laminate overlay, but this is common even with newly laminated thermometer plaques. This is NOT a recent reproduction and it is not a fake.

CONDITION: By "antique " we mean over 100 years of age. By "vintage"we mean between 50 and 100 years of age. This item is made of matter and it is OLD; it is approximately 70 years of age and this means it is not new. There are some signs of age and usage, including but not limited to a little bit of minor buckling of the color image under the laminate overlay, but this is common even with newly laminated thermometer plaques. The condition is generally good overall, and there isn't anything obviously functionally wrong; please look at all the photo carefully and read this description carefully. There may be signs of age and usage that we missed because we aren't specifically trained to see them. It is impossible to divine exactly what information a buyer might want.
