DESCRIPTION: This is an old toy dart gun target that has the space capsule, Friendship 7, on one side and the planetary solar system on the other side. It is not marked by the manufacturer or the country of origin, but it does say “AstroRay“ on the planets side, and has the Morse symbols on the capsule side. It has a factory hole in the top, so it can be hung on the wall, so that you can enjoy one side or the other.
MATERIALS: Lithographed tin
DIMENSIONS: Approximately 12-¾“ in diameter
CONDITION: Overall VERY GOOD CONDITION. It is bright and colorful. It does have scuffs and some spider-webbing of the paint. It has some very light dents.
FYI: Our pictures are taken under bright incandescent camera lighting or using a flash that sometimes fades out the colors or makes them appear brighter. This also helps to show all distinguishing features and possible flaws on the item. Most of our antiques and collectibles have much darker, deeper, richer colors than appear in some of our photos, especially reds that tend to turn orange in appearance. If you have a question about the color of this item, please feel free to ask questions, because from my monitor to your monitor, the colors may appear different. So, you might think you are bidding on a rare color, when it might be a common color.
This is a great piece to display with your robot and space toys, or to place in your vintage NASA or space exploration memorabilia collection.
If you win more than one item, I will combine the items for shipment and charge shipping according to weight.
