CARE INSTRUCTIONS 
These bears are easy to maintain, since their fur still has its natural oils to protect it. Do no wash in water, which hardens the fur.               

  1. Cover the fur using an absorbent baby powder corn starch

  2. Leave it under the sun for a few hours

  3. The baby powder will act as a natural dry cleaning agent, absorbing the grease and dirt

  4. Brush several times thoroughly with a hard hair brush

  5. Shake well to expel the rest of the powder

  6. Use a hair dryer to add expel extra volume

  7. The result will be a revitalized, soft and fluffy bear

     
BABY ALPACA FUR
Alpacas are members of the South American camelid family that are closely related to Llamas, Guanacos and Vicuñas. The baby hides are recollected to make "alpaca teddy bears". During the winter season when the cold is most intense, many alpacas die naturally in the Andes, before reaching two months of life which is the reason for a very limited production. Each bear made of alpaca fur is individually handcrafted by the most talented artisans in Peru, with the best material available. All the products go through a quality control before we send them out, to assure the best quality bear on the market.
