               Beautiful Parasol shaped Needlecase with Stanhope

                                              English *C 1850

 

This lovely needlecase is made from a beautiful natural material and hase a fine patina and colour,the Parasol handle unscrews so the needles can be slipt in.

In the top of the Parasol handle there is a small viewing lens called a Stanhope, known also as 'peeps' on the other end of the lens there is a tiny Image divided in six views 'Souvenir of Bridlington'.

The needlecase is in lovely condition with no cracks or other damage,it measure's 5 1/2" in length
