Straw Hat For Church, Millinery, Flapper, Cloche Hat







 




Warm weather is here again, and I am putting my spring summer hats on the auction block. This hat is perfect for the spring, summer or fall.  I use high end 100% Michael Miller Fabric, “Ironworks”.  This wonderful open air hat has three 1 inch wide fabric strips that support the crown.  I have incorporated an open weave straw fabric that I have hand-sewn wire into the hem to give it a unique flexible structure.  I use one of my hand rendered white leather magnolia with 3 polymers clay pistils.  The inside lining is 100% high end Waverly, “Pen Pall” Fabric.  The crown depth is 4 inches.  Follow the instructions on how to measure your head, give me your head size that I may custom to your specific head size.



My Hat Return Policy:

Returns are not accepted on hats.   I am a stickler about hat hygiene.  Hats that have been placed on one's head may not be returned;  I will gladly accept hats that need alterations or reshaping.  That is why it is imperative that you ask questions prior to bidding,  that will avoid fitting, structural and style problems.

How to measure your head:

 1. Using a tape measure made of plastic or cloth, measure circumference of head just above top of ears and just above the brow. Make sure the tape lies midway on your occipital bone (the little bone in the middle of the back of your head). 

 2.  Place the tape measure at the top center of your head and measure the distance to where you want the brim to place. This will give the crown depth. It is important that you provide these two measurements to get a perfect fit. Remember; please include your hair in both measurements. Don't pull the tape too tightly; let it sit comfortably, i.e. how you'd like the hat to fit.  

Each hat is steamed cleaned and wrapped in plastic to ensure a fresh and sanitary hat.
