This is a gorgeous and hard-to-find 1970s vintage Table Lamp with a CARNIVAL GLASS body with ornate antiqued gold metal base and cap. The glass is fabulous, with luster colors of the rainbow over amber glass. The underside of the metal base says "Copyright TM 1972, No. 145-4-5X, FF & FF Industries, Inc." From other sources, I've learned this company was based in Dayton, Ohio, and was acquired by Locus Industries, Missouri, in 2000.
The modern hardware features a three-way switch to light (1st) the main top bulb, (2nd) the bulb within the carnival glass body, or (3rd) both the top bulb and the interior bulb at the same time. The wiring all works and seems in fine condition. In a dark room, the interior bulb casts a wonderful warm amber glow through the colored glass. When the top bulb is on, the iridescent lusterware finish is highlighted. I tried to photograph the glass under different lights to better show the colors.
This piece stands 23" tall to the top of the gold chrome bulb receptacle and the glass is roughly 11" in diameter at its widest. The glass is in great shape with no breaks, chips, wear or scratches. The metal base and cap have some corrosion which will need retouching or refinishing. I had planned to disassemble everything and use the glass portion as a hanging globe, which I thought would be fun --- but I have too many project ideas!
As the photos show, this is a rare and unusual lamp, well worth featuring in your home.

International postage is highly variable between light and heavy boxes. If the box is under 4 pounds, you can choose First Class International or Priority Mail International. For items over $100 in value, Priority Mail must be purchased, to allow me to purchase insurance for you.
