ITEM DESCRIPTION
Up for your consideration is a rare Williamson stained-glass lamp, c. 1910. The shade features a floral Art Nouveau design, and the base is made of solid bronze. The shade is large, measuring 19.5" in diameter, and features greens, brown (caramel) , and pink stained glass. It is signed on the base "Wilkinson Lamp Chicago." The lamp stands 23" tall from base to finial.
Overall, the lamp is in very good condition. The lamp has been professional rewired, and the base has a rich bronze patina. The shade has several cracks, many likely occurring from changes in temperature, and many do not extend all the way through the glass. I counted 14 total pieces with cracks, with 6 in one concentrated area (see last pic, where this damage in centered in the picture. As you can see, it is difficult to detect.
Concerning Repair: I have a local expert who can repair these pieces if desired. It would cost about $300, and I can have this lamp restored. Please notify me if you would like this done. I spoke to him, and we decided to leave the option (restored or not) to the buyer.

This charge includes all costs including quality packing, shipping fees, & full insurance at the purchase price. International shipping is available, but prior permission by the seller is required before you bid.

Once the item is paid for, we will drop it off at their business, at that time you may request a condition report from the shipper to confirm that the piece was described properly prior to shipment. However, once the item is shipped, all contacts, communications, & claims are the responsibility of the purchaser and the "The Shipping Place." I cannot file a claim for these items, as I am not the primary shipper. However, I will be glad to assist you in any way possible to expedite the process.
ITEM INSPECTION/RETURN POLICY
RETURN/REFUND POLICY: We offer a full refund policy, but we must be contacted through eBay within 3 days after receiving the item. If a refund is requested, the buyer is to pay shipping both ways. The refund will be made once the item is back in our possession, and that it arrives in the same condition that it was sent.

Currently, our gallery is in transition. Personally, I am responsible for all activities. This includes packing, shipping, item descriptions, and communications. My responsibilities also include all initial purchases (either at auction, estate purchases, etc.), and restorations and cleaning.
For this reason, I graciously ask for extra time for shipments. Usually, items are shipped within 5 business days, but sometimes take up to 10 days. I monitor my eBay account on a daily basis, and will gladly provide my cell phone number if requested. As my feedback shows, I am an honest & reliable broker. I package & describe my items much better that most.
Usually, I can accomodate a special request, but ask for some sympathy & understanding based on eBay's new hyper-critical rating system, and ever-changing rules. Please understand that customer satisfaction is my highest priority.
Also, please note that I lose money on shipping overall. I do my best to offer a fair estimate. Sometimes it is a bit higher than actual costs, but often I lose $30 - $40 on certain items that are just a bit to heavy, or an odd size. If for some reason that shipping costs are substantially less than what is paid for, I will refund the balance. However, please understand the cost of materials, as I only use quality & new materials. I never charge for my labor.
