WOOD CIGAR / STASH BOX

This is an old "complimentary" Cigar wood box that looks like a book. Made of, what looks like, redwood, it measures 1.5" thick, 8.5" tall, and 7"wide. Dovetail construction.

Print on the backside of the box reads: "The Cigars herein contained were manufactured to retail for more than 8cents and not more than 15 cents each.";  "Permit c628, Pennsylvania, 25 in box, compliments of Vulca Seal Products; Lunday-Thagard Oil Co." The red-colored spline is also printed with the Vulca name, and the inside lid is printed with "compliments of..." .  The back inside bottom cover has a slight nick in the wood.

I don't know about others, but it has been a very long time since I have seen cigars sell from 8-15 cents This box makes a grand hiding place on the bookshelf; a great conversation piece; or a jewelry box for your valuables.

This item sells as-is and ships to the US 48 only. Insurance is optional but always recommended inthat we do not replace nor give refunds on any item that is lost, damaged, or destroyed once it is in the hands of the parcel carrier.
