Fallschirmjäger Boots, Size 11, SALE

New reproduction German Paratrooper boots. These are the second model, or "front lace" boots. This is the most commonly encountered type of boot worn by the German Fallschirmjäger. They appeared early in the Way to replace the first model side-lace pattern. (This model is visible in photos taken during the battle for Crete in 1941.) Our boots are calfskin, with 12 pairs of eyelets, notched heels and leather soles. The "hobnails" are the round headed type. (Square or rectangular heads also existed.) These do not protrude from the sole like those on non-paratrooper boots as that would make walking on the metal floor of an aircraft a bit slippery.

These will only be available in black.

These boots are made in whole sizes on an "E" last to allow room for use of insoles and thick socks. Please feel free to call or email us for more information.
