This auction is for a fancy horse bit manufactured by "FLEMING" I'm not really knowledgeable about such items but will describe it to the bet of my ability. Note this is just one of two bits that I have listed on E-bay along with three pair of spurs. In my opinion all of these items are above average in quality & condition. This bit measures approximately 8 inches long & 5 inches wide inside the cheek plates. There is a sheet of silver overlay that has been engraved with scroll work & floral design. Bit is stamped Fleming on the inside (see photo) I detect no condition issues with this bit & am starting it out with what I think is a low opening bid. I'm not sure of the age of this bit but if I have to guess I would say maybe 20 years old, but that is pure speculation on my part as it could be much older considering the other item that it came in this collection of spurs, bits etc. Please note I will be unable to answer any questions on the 5th 6th or 7th as I will be out of town. Other wise ask & I will be happy to respond to the best of my ability or if you need another photo of a specific view. High bidder to pay $8.75 for priority mail in the US.
