A reserve price is the minimum price the seller will accept. This price is hidden from bidders. To win, a bidder must have the highest bid and have met or exceeded the reserve price.
This beautiful cup and
saucer set is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, crazing, or
repairs. All of the pattern and colors are present.
Both pieces feature a deep
turquoise color under a network of gold-tone fern-like vines. On the outer
edges of both is a wide band of gold, and the vines continue over that as well.
The cup has a scalloped
foot with lightly embossed ridges. It has a very fancy handle with gold
accenting the outer edge, as well as a thin gold ring around the inside of the
cup.
The cup stands 2½ inches
tall and the saucer measures 4½ inches wide. Both have a gold beehive-shaped
mark with 11/276 underneath (see photo). This set coordinates well with a
cobalt blue Royal Vienna cup and saucer I’ve also listed.
It’s a beautiful set.
