Fancy Kitty Kitten Motorization Kit

The Kitten motorization kit is constructed with sanded unfinished 3/4 inch solid American red oak It fits directly under the Kitten drum carder and can be installed in only a few minutes with household tools.

It features one gear head motor that can be individually adjusted for speed and is reversible. It connects to the swift axle shaft in place of the hand crank. The motor turn both the swift and licker-in at the same 4 to 1 ratio as hand turning. It will run from very slow to 50 rounds per min.

The power is transferred to the swift axle via a tooth belt pully and belt system that is as strong as chain drive, but quite and requires no maintenance.

International customers: please contact me with your shipping address & I will give you a shipping quote.  Shipping may not be combined with any other item.  If you win the auction, please request an invoice with the internaltional shipping amount included.  The picker will be shipped in two boxes, one with the cradle assembly and the other with the base assembly.  These two assemblies can be easily reassembled with simple hand tools by screwing machine screws into inserts installed in the base assembly.
