Here is an excellent condition single owner DVP 5000 top of the line scaler that sold for well over $20K when new a few years ago. One of the few Faroudja scalers that will accept and upscale an HD component signal, this scaler has seen little use, and functions exactly the way you expect it to. Perfect deinterlacing, all functions have been checked. Massive amounts of control over the video image, this scaler has been put against HDMI signals fed directly to a CRT projector or a flat screen, and the video processing of the Faroudja proved superior. Very good condition overall, orignal manual and remote come with the unit as shown, and I"ll put a power cord in the box as well. Rack ears included as shown as well. I've started the auction price low, well under the $1700 that I saw the last Faroudja go for here on eBay, no reserve. I'll ship worldwide via USPS, no problems there. Email me with any questions, but regardless what kind of display you have, this Faroudja will improve it. BTW, this unit was used in conjunction with a Sony G90 CRT projector, and will work wonders for any CRT. I personally use a Faroudja 3000 with my CRT rear projection set, and it works insanely well. THre are a couple of minor marks on the top back of the lid, but nothing that will be seen when the unit is installedin a rack or shelf.
