This shows revolves around insurance salesman Jim Anderson (Robert Young), his wife Margaret, and their three children, Betty, Bud, and Kathy. This is a morally uplifting shows that centers around the minor crises that arise from raising children. But with love and wisdom from the parents, these events are overcome. This was such a popular program that it was later developed into a television program that ran for many years.
