Elastic Free- no binding, pinching or pulling on fur.  Many buyers have found that fabric covered elastic may pinch their delicate skin causing irritation.

Plastic Free- Plastic liners, inserts or vinyl backed fabric may create heat and hold urine against their skin causing diaper rash or hot spots.  My fabrics are 100% comfortable cotton.  If additional protection is needed, I recommend adding half of a maxi pad which will pull urine away from the body.  Also, adding a pad will save washing time.

Heavy Duty Velcro - I spend the extra money for top quality, heavy duty velcro so your band or diaper will stay on your furbaby.  Even 'Little Escape Artists' wear my bands and diapers.

Prissy Pants are for female dogs who are in season or accident prone.  Great for potty training. Peace of mind when your dog is unsupervised in the house or visiting.  My prissy pants are hand made, high quality with extra thick batting for absorbancy.  I do not use a waterproof liner since urine against the skin may cause your little one serious medical problems.  For maximum absorption protection, just add half of a Poise Ultra Plus Incontinent pad (or any type of maxi pad).  I add extra stitching on padding to prevent batting from shifting during wash (very important since batting will shift without extra stitching).  I give you a generous amount of velcro for size adjustments and easy on and off.  Machine washable. To correctly measure your dog, measure around the waist in front of back legs.  Do not pull tightly or pants will be too small.  Please consider an allow for pad(if using) and fur growth.  Prissy pants will save your carpet and floors!  Each furbody is different, if you have any questions about measuring or sizing, please contact me.  XXS diapers and bands available for teacup furbabies as well as larger diapers and bands for medium and large dogs.  From a smoke free home.   Check out my other items!  Male dog diaper/belly bands also listed.  Be sure to add me to your favorites list!
