THIS AUCTION IS FOR A VERY RARE 1978 PRO REVERB AMP
THIS IS NOT A REISSUE. IT'S A 30 YEAR OLD VINTAGE TUBE AMP.
Pro Reverb amps are either 40 or 70 watts. This one is the highly sought after, and much more powerful, 70 watt version, and it sounds fantastic.
THE FENDER AMP BOOK SAYS THE PRO REVERB IS THE BEST AMP FENDER EVER MADE.
LIKE ANY 30 YEAR OLD USED AMP, THIS ONE IS NOT PERFECT. THERE'S A SMALL TEAR IN THE GRILL CLOTH NEAR THE BOTTOM AND A SMALL TEAR IN THE TOLEX ON ONE CORNER. OTHERWISE, THE AMP IS IN VERY GOOD CONDITION. WITH A LITTLE CLEAN UP, IT WOULD LOOK FANTASTIC.
EVERYTHING APPEARS TO BE ALL ORIGINAL. ALL OF THE ELECTRONICS, AND THE SPEAKERS WORK GREAT, AND THE AMP SOUNDS FANTASTIC. ALSO NOTICE, BOTH OF THE ORIGINAL BACK PANELS ARE INTACT. THERE ARE FOUR FACTORY INSTALLED CUPS, ON THE BOTTOM FOR POP OUT CASTERS, BUT I DON'T HAVE THE WHEELS. YOU CAN USUALLY FIND THEM ON EBAY.
Here are some more details, and a couple of stock photos .........

Comments: |
- The AA1069 schematic shows a Mid control but it did not get installed on producion models.
- Fender switched back to the blackface era cosmetics some time in 1980. Pro Reverbs produced between late 1980 and 1982 have a black control panel and silver sparkle grille cloth.
- A Boost switch, master volume, and hum balance control was added before Pro Reverb was discontinued.

The amp will be tested again, before it's shipped out. It will also be fully insured, and packed well with plenty of heavy duty bubble wrap.
These are getting more rare, and the prices on vintage Fender tube amps are going up every day.
The Buy It Now price is very fair, for this amp, but if no one uses the Buy It Now, be sure and stay close to your computer, especially during the last few minutes of the auction.
This is a rare vintage '78 Pro Reverb, so bid now, and don't let it get away !!!
Shipping and handling will be a flat rate of $99.99 (plus one percent for insurance) anywhere in the continental United States. I'll ship the amp to Canada for $249.99 (plus one percent for insurance). Buyers in the UK, Europe and Asia will pay a flat rate of $399.99 plus insurance. All other buyers, including thoise in Australian and New Zealand will pay a flat rate of $449.99 plus insurance.
I send all international shipments by Air Mail and tracking numbers will be provided. Texas residents pay sales tax. Insurance will be required on all shipments and it will protect your investment. However, I have never had a guitar get lost, damaged, or stolen in route.
When I ship your amp, you will also receive a $20.00 credit that you can use towards your next guitar purchase.
I can take a payment thru PayPal, from anyone, that has a CONFIRMED PayPal shipping address. If your PayPal address is UNCONFIRMED, you must pay with a U.S. Postal Money Order, a Canadian Postal Money Order, a direct bank wire transfer, or another form of wire transfer. No Exceptions.
If you want to use PayPal for payment, I prefer an eCheck, because they only charge a flat fee of $5.00 on all eChecks. However, I will take a credit card or instant transfer payment, but again, only with a CONFIRMED PayPal address. PayPal charges 3 to 4 percent on all instant transfer and credit card payments, but not on eChecks.
If you need to use a credit card, you may also be able to get a cash advance on your card, and then wire the funds as payment. If you do not understand the payment options, that are stated in this ad, please feel free to contact me, BEFORE you bid, for more details. Once again, there are No Exceptions, and I will not accept any PayPal payments, that have an UNCONFIRMED address. You can contact PayPal directly, for more information, about possibly having your PayPal address CONFIRMED.
Bank wire payments are very fast and also very secure, plus I can take them from all international, as well as domestic buyers. As the winning bidder, you will also have all the contact info for my bank, which is Wells Fargo. You can easily contact them, to verify my long term status there, so you'll be comfortable with the wire transfer.
The payment must be made within 3 days and I usually ship within 3 business days as well. Everything I have on eBay is shipped out and personal pickup is not an option.
The winning bidder must email me with a shipping address etc. as soon as the auction ends.
I appreciate your business, but if you do not agree with the flat rates for S&H, the payment methods required, or anything else in this ad, please do not bid. To much time is wasted for both of us, if you don't follow thru with your purchase.
I make an honest effort to accurately described everything we sell, and I provide excellent pictures, of the exact item you're bidding on. If you buy something from me, it has been checked out, and will work properly. eBay is an auction site and a great place, to buy used items, at great prices. All sales are final, on all items, and there will be no returns.
