We're offering this Hippie Dippy AS NEW with Hang Tag Fender '68 Reissue Blue Floral Telecaster. These instruments were shipped without Gig bags or cases but we are offering a new Fender Gig bag with this Flawless Retro Guitar!!!

This second reissue of this legendary model was offered by Fender at the NAMM show a few years ago and was a limited run from the Fender Japan facility, It's well know that the the quality of the Fender Japan instruments is right there with the much more expensive American models. Fender introduced the wacky Pink Paisley and Blue Floral Tele's and Strats in 1968 and discontinued them in '69. They didn't sell well back then (with the exception of James Burton use of the Paisley backing Elvis) but they're in demand today!

This cool Tele recreation features a Maple neck & fretboard with 21 frets, 251/2" scale length, chrome hardware, vintage-style 3-saddle bridge, Kluson style tuners, a clear pickguard, and vintage style pickups, with volume, tone, & 3-way pickup selector switch.

Comments from the internet include, "Japanese made and what a nice job they did with every inch of the guitar.", "as good as any US made Telecaster that I've played", "The neck is my favorite of all my teles", "Been playing for 38 years and cannot believe I like this guitar so much." One of our co-owners even has one of these and says he loves it - he says when the chicks come over they say oooooh!

On the negative side, one of the local Idiots came in one day and saw his young son looking at it, and shouted, "Get away from that boy! That's a girl's “Git-tar!" When I told him that’s what I Play I thought he was going to get up on the counter and Tap Dance as he tried to get out of the conversation!!
