The Fine Print:

Bidders/Buyers:         All bidders and buyers are welcome.  If you are new to eBay, that is with 5 or less feedbacks, first let me welcome you to the eBay Community.  Second, please email me prior to bidding on an auction to let me know you are serious about purchasing the item.  If you are buying without the immediate Paypal payment option, click on “Contact Seller” and let me know your payment intentions.

As I do sell local also, I reserve the right to cancel any auction prior to the first bid if the item is no longer available.

Payment:          PayPal is preferred, but I will also accept personal checks and money orders from US buyers only.  Please understand that I will hold shipment for up to 10 days for funds to clear if you are paying with anything but PayPal.  Overseas buyers please use PayPal only.

If you are not paying for your purchase with a PayPal Immediate Payment, please contact me with your payment intentions within 24 hours of end of auction or your purchase.  Please remit payment within 7 days of auction end.

Sale and “Clearance Corner” items are sold at a substantial discount, so please pay with PayPal only on these items.

Communication:        I believe that good communication is the key to a good eBay experience.  As a buyer, you will automatically receive several email from me at various stages of the transaction.  You will get a “Payment Received” confirmation that lets you know that I have received your payment and when I will ship your item.  Then you will receive a “Shipping Notification” with a tracking number that let’s you know that your item is on its way to you.  If your item is shipped UPS or Fedex, you will also receive update emails from these companies.  I also customarily send you a follow-up email after you have received your item.  During this process, you will have my telephone number (included in all email communication) and are encouraged to call if you ever have questions or concerns about your purchase.

Please email me with any questions you may have regarding my listings or your purchase.  Monday – Friday, I reply to all email inquiries within the day.  Inquiries made Saturday and Sunday will receive a response on Monday.

Shipping:        Your item will be shipped within 2 business days after receipt of your payment (cleared funds).  I generally use USPS, UPS, and Fedex for shipping, depending on the item.  Tracking numbers are always emailed to you as soon as they become available.  I reserve the right to determine which shipping channel will be used on any purchase, regardless of the shipping method disclosed in the item listing.  I will generally choose the quickest method available for the amount of shipping fees collected.

Please note that guitars, guitar bodies and necks are shipped with a signature required at delivery.  I do this so the shipper does not leave the item unattended at your front door if no one is home.  If this is an issue for you, please contact me before I ship your item.

International buyers:  I use USPS for international shipping.  Guitars are shipped fully insured via Express Mail International.  If on any of my items you do not see a shipping cost for your country, please email me for a quote.  Shipping to some countries is limited due to maximum allowable package size.  Smaller items are shipped First Class International; no tracking numbers are available but I purchase a certificate of mailing from the postal service for each item.

Shipping Fees:           I do not charge “Flat Rate” shipping fees.  Fees charged for shipping will always be actual cost as determined by the eBay Shipping Fee Calculator plus a nominal Handling Fee.  This fee will be fully disclosed in each listing and will reflect actual cost of materials.  Some items require special boxes, for example guitars and guitar bodies, which are double boxed for safe transit.  Handling Fees will not exceed the actual or allocated cost of these items.

If the actual shipping costs are significantly less due to an error on my part or the shipping calculator, you will receive a refund of the excess amount via PayPal.

Some items will feature free shipping.

Feedback:      This is an important aspect of eBay and very important to my business.  I consider your obligation fulfilled when you have paid me and given me the information I need to successfully ship your purchase to you.  As such, I will leave positive feedback for you when I ship your item. 

I ask for you to provide positive feedback upon receipt and inspection of your purchase.  If you have any issue with your purchase that would prevent a positive feedback, please contact me as soon as possible to work out a resolution, prior to leaving feedback.

I do reserve the right to withhold feedback at my discretion.

Refunds and Returns:          Full refund of your sales price if item is returned in unopened. undamaged and unused condition. For valid return, buyer must notify seller within 3 calendar days of receipt via telephone or email of intent to return. Item must be shipped in original packing materials with tracking number within 5 days of receipt.  Shipping and handling charges will not be refunded unless the return is a result of my error.  If you require a pre-paid return mailing label, the cost for this will be deducted from your refund unless the return is a result of my error.

Price Adjustments:    If you find an item you purchased from me at a lower price in my store within 7 days of your purchase date, notify me via email, and I will refund the difference in your purchase price and the sale price to you via PayPal.  Offer only valid if you used PayPal to pay for your purchase.  Check and Money Order payments not included in this offer.  Only valid for identical items.  Not valid for guitars and guitar bodies, as each one is unique and has its unique value.  Valid only on Fixed Price and Store listings, not Auction items and applies only to sales price and not to shipping discounts or other incentive discounts.
