This Fender Thin Skin Nitro American Vintage ‘57 Stratocaster was a recent trade in toward a Custom Shop instrument. This is great news for you, as you have an opportunity to get a limited release strat at a great price. Truly the guitar that changed the world, if you have never played one of these beauties, now is you chance.

The Fender Thin Skin Nitro American Vintage ‘57 Stratocaster features a very thin nitrocellulose finish, just like they did back in the 1950's. The Nitro lets the alder wood body breathe which makes for a more resonant tone. It is more prone to scratches and wear unlike newer polyurethane finished models. As a result this guitar does have couple very minor scuffs in the finish but all in all it is a 9/10 condition wise and looks like it has never been played. The original owner upraded the pickups to Fender Vintage Noisless pickups for that great single could twang without all the hum. The guitar was also upgraded to the included when new 5-Way switch for more tonal options. The original pickups and 3-Way switch are not included. This guitar plays as it should. Lots of Fender quack, nice midrange tone. If you have been looking for one of these, now is your big chance. If you haven't heard one, this will change your life.
