Fender Mount CB Antenna Top Loaded Removeable 27 MHz

CB-27SX (No coupler version of CB-27S also in our ebay store) Made by Hamg Shing in Taiwan 10 years ago, sold thousands to dealers and distributors. Here is a final inventory clean up of a discontinued item. Hamg Shing is a high grade Taiwan maker now based in China. They supply only car factories now.

This antenna mounts on any sheet metal surface and adjusts to vertical. It has a swivel split ball joint mount. Fits into a 1" hole from the top, due to its two clasps which drop into the hole then grab from underneath. It is 43" tall including the 11" plastic encased coil. The removeable mast assembly bayonet locks into the special ball mount chromed base. The mast is all stainless tubing then top section is gray plastic encased coil. The tip has a thumb head adjustment rod for fine tuning of the frequency. The cable is 60" long with a male Motorola connector.

This connector was meant to plug into an am/fm coupling box which permitted the antenna to work for the am/fm radio as well as the CB. But the adapter box is not included, already sold out. (Cut off this connector and add a UHF male for direct connection to a CB or buy it in our store and we attach it for you) The adapter box C-27 does come with our CB-27S other listing in our store. Power handling is guaranteed for 5 Watts legal CB power. Never tested high power on it but we estimate it should be good for 50 Watts and maybe 100. Outside the USA and the FCC of course.
