This is a great project piece for the luthier, or repairman. All of our luthier project guitars are stamped Used or 2nd on the back of the headstock. This is an imprint stamp, not an ink stamp or sticker. They were stamped by the manufacturer. If there is a serial number it has been partially removed by the manufacturer. The number at the end of the description is our inventory number, it in no way implies a serial number and as most of you know does not correspond with any of the manufacturer's serial numbers. We describe all of our luthier guitars, bodies, necks and parts to the best of our ability. We ourselves are not luthiers, nor are we experts. We describe all blatantly obvious defects to the best of our ability. Some of our project guitars come with notes from our supplier saying in basic terms what the defect is. We include that information along with anything else we can see. In the case of bad necks we do not know what the issue is unless our supplier tells us, nor can we photograph a truss rod issue, neck set issue or any other neck issue unless it is a break or split. If the electronics are still in a luthier guitar we do not know the working condition of the electronics. If you are looking for further information on a particular guitar we suggest you check the manufacturer's website.

Due to an alarming new trend with buyers we are adding the following statement regarding all of our luthier guitars, bodies, necks and cases: Items listed with defects such as "damaged and in need of repair" cannot be returned to us nor will we file bogus insurance claims. We have had a recent rash of buyers receiving their items and then saying they arrived damaged, well, since they are listed as damaged of course they arrived damaged! Please use common sense here, folks!
We gladly combine shipping on mulitiple items whenever reasonably possible!! If you are purchasing more than one item please do not pay until we have sent you a combined invoice. We send combined invoices within 12 hours of the end of the auction (everyone needs sleep now and then!). If you pay for your items without the combined invoice and overpay on shipping we will not refund the overpayment. Please have some patience and wait for the combined invoice. Due to the large number of impatient bidders who cannot wait for the combined invoice and the amount of time we have to spend on refunding overpayments on shipping we have implemented this policy effective March 18, 2008. Payment:
**We prefer PayPal but will accept money orders or personal checks from US buyers. Items paid with a personal check are held for 7-10 days for clearance. All international buyers, including Canada, must pay by PayPal and the funds must be American. PayPal is the only accepted method of payment from international buyers. Payment by any other method will be refused and the item will be relisted with the UPI procedure so that our fees for using eBay are returned to us.
**To help expedite the shipping process if your PayPal address shows a PO Box and you have purchased a large item that will be shipped via FedEx please contact us with your street address as soon as possible. We package right up until the FedEx truck arrives, the sooner we have your street address the sooner you will receive your item.
**Payment must be made within 72 hours of the end of auction with no exceptions. We are not a large facility and do not have the space for holding items for more than a few days after the auction ends. We extend the courtesy of holding items for a reasonable amount of time to our regular and repeat buyers.
**US buyers, when paying via check or money order you MUST include the item name and number and a copy of your auction. Failure to include an item name and number results in delays as we do a high volume. Simply writing "guitar" on the envelope doesn't help as we ship hundreds of guitars. We need to know what item you have won.

**We ship FedEx exclusively within the lower 48 States, all items are insured. Our rates are competitive with other eBay sellers, please compare! Guitars ship for $40.00, guitar bodies: $19.00, guitar necks: $13.00. The shipping fee also covers the packaging material, please understand that we do not get our shipping material free! We have to price our shipping to cover the cost of the materials used for packaging.
**Guitar hardware ships via the USPS Priority Mail, insured. We gladly combine for reduced costs, please wait for us to send a combined invoice when purchasing multiple parts. Large orders of hardware will ship FedEx.
**Shipping to Hawaii, Alaska, Puerto Rico, US Virgin Islands ship via the USPS. Shipping is higher to those destinations. Do not pay the automated invoice! You will need to wait for an updated invoice reflecting the correct shipping cost.
**International shipping is as follows: United Kingdom, Germany, Austria, Netherlands, Sweden, Switzerland, France, Italy, Spain, Hungary: Guitars and luthier guitars: $95.00, guitar bodies: $45.00, guitar neck: $37.00, one pound or less hardware piece (machine heads, bridges, one piece pickups): $22.00. Larger hardware pieces, guitars with cases and combined orders will have different shipping costs. Please contact us for those costs.
**Canadian and Mexican are as follows: guitar and luthier guitar: $45.00, body: $25.00, neck: $18.00, one pound or less hardware piece (see above) $16.00.
**Australia, Japan and Iceland are as follows: guitar and luthier: $105 Express Mail due to size restrictions, body: $50.00, neck: $40.00, one pound or less hardware piece (see above): $25.00.

We carefully package each item using a variety of shipping materials, primarily paper and bubble wrap. Guitars are double boxed, they are shipped in the box we receive them in and then in a 275# crush box we have made for us. Our shipping fees are not for the postage only and do include an allowance for the packaging supplies. Please check our feedback regarding our shipping methods. Again, all items are insured.
**We ship every Monday, Wednesday and Friday. As soon as the FedEx driver scans your package into his computer you should receive a tracking number. We generate our Priority Mail labels through PayPal, again, a tracking number is provided to you through them as soon as the label enters the postal system. Please check your email for the tracking number before contacting us to ask for one. It isn't that we don't enjoy emailing it is simply that we do such a volume it is cumbersome to keep checking for tracking nmbers when they have been provided to you by FedEx and the USPS through PayPal.
**All FedEx items are shipped Indirect Signature, meaning someone will be required to sign for your package. If you need this waived due to a work schedule, etc., please let us know at the end of the auction. If you waive the signature requirement we will not be responsible for items after they leave us. We require the signature due to some unscrupulous eBayers who tried to claim they didn't receive the item. We also need a street address for FedEx, if your PayPal reflects a PO box address please email us your street address for shipment at the end of the auction.
**We can arrange for a local pickup on our terms. We work from our home and do not have a store front. We will arrange a meeting place for a local pickup on larger or high ticket items. Hardware must be shipped as we do not have the time for meeeting to deliver a lower ticket item. Due to a high volume of local pickups we can only do them on Mondays and Wednesdays. If you can not arrange a Monday or Wednesday pickup we will have to ship the item. If something comes up in our schedule we reserve the right to not do a local delivery on a Monday or Wednesday.
International Bidders:
**Before bidding please email to see if we sell to your country. Due to shipping and other issues we will not sell to anyone from Quebec, (no exceptions), any African or Middle Eastern nation. We have listed the shipping fees for many countries up above in the shipping category. Please read.
**All international shipping is done via the USPS and all items are insured.
**eBay sends an automated invoice for us at the end of the auction with the shipping cost for the US, please do not pay that. Wait for us to send a modified invoice with the shipping for your country. Paying the US shipping delays your order as we must wait for you to pay the correct amount.
**Customs duties and import taxes that may apply are not included in our shipping cost. Please verify these costs with your local customs office. The buyer is responsible for all fees imposed by their countries. No exceptions.
**We will not mark any items as gifts nor will we record a lower value. Lying on a customs form is a felony and we will not do it. This is imperative! Please do not berate us after you have received your item for not putting a lower value or marking it as a gift. If you are not willing to pay the fees and taxes do not bid on our items.
**You must allow a reasonable amount of time for an item to arrive. All items leaving the US have to go through customs and we cannot be held responsible for the length of time it takes for items to arrive. We ship promptly, after it leaves us, we have no control over the USPS. Unfortunately the Canadian customs seem to be the slowest. Again, this is beyond our control.
Terms:
**We are committed to providing quality customer care. We stand behind all of our instruments and would not sell something we ourselves would not be proud to own.
**We offer a 7 day money back guarantee if the item differs from what was pictured or described in the listing or is damaged during shipping. If you feel the item differs you may return it within 7 days. We must receive the item within 7 days from the date you received the item (which we can track via FedEx or the USPS). All items must be returned in the orginal condition and it must be properly packaged. All return shipping is at the customer's expense. We only offer refunds on shipping on damaged items.
**In the rare instance that an item arrives damaged you must keep the original packaging and it must be repackaged as you received it. Failure to do so will result in the denial of our claim with USPS or FedEx which in turn voids any return claim between you the buyer and us the seller. All damaged items must be returned to us. You cannot keep damaged items and expect a refund.
**We reserve the right to cancel bids at any time and we reserve the right to refuse to sell to anyone for any reason at any time.

**We don't use stock photos unless noted. What you see in the photo is what you get. We do our best with the photos and try to capture any defects or blemishes. **We work from our home and have a large family. Please allow us our Fridays and Saturdays off to be with our family and do "normal" things. We will sometimes reply to emails and always ship on Friday unless there is a scheduling conflict, in that instance we ship on Thursday. If you do not hear from us it is because we have shut the computer down and are spending time with our children. You all have days off, please allow us our days off too. No phone calls please.
**We do our best to answer emails promptly, however, you must take into account we are not at the computer 24 hours a day and sometimes there may be delays in our getting the answer you need. Please be patient if you do not hear from us right away. We are also buyers on eBay and know the frustration of not getting an answer promptly so we do our best.
**We use quite a few automated features provided by eBay. You will receive reminders when items are not paid for. Feedback reminders are also sent. Feedback is left by us after we receive Feedback due to our volume. We always use the Unpaid Item Reminder system as soon as an item is eligible for a reminder. When you placed a bid on our item you entered a contract with us. We expect payment.
**When contacting us regarding an item you must use the eBay Ask The Seller A Question form. We will not reply to emails sent outside of eBay. All contact must include the item number.

**Feedback is left for you automatically once we receive feedback. This is an automated service we use through eBay due to our large volume.
**When you are rating us using the star system please think before you ding! Our shipping costs include the packaging material. Yes, it may have cost $8.00 to ship your item but the box, bubble wrap, tape, printer ink and label (and even the wrapping paper!) are all costs that we must include in the shipping cost. We cannot control the shipping time. We ship as quickly as we can but cannot control the USPS, FedEx, customs, or your mailman or roommate who forgot to tell you your package arrived! If you have paid for an item five days after the auction ended of course it takes longer than if you had paid at the end of the auction. We are only asking that you are reasonable when using the star rating system. Thank you.
