Fender Stratocaster Strat XII 12 String Electric Guitar

This is a nice Candy Apple Red Fender Stratocaster XII made in Japan:

• Alder body
• Candy Apple Red original finish
• SN E 818168 [dates the guitar to 1984 - 1987 era, one website states "Fenders  sporting the E are sought after in their own right for their rarity."]
• Maple neck, finish has slightly yellowed
• Rosewood slab fingerboard
• 22 frets [original, plenty of life left in them]

• 24 ¾" scale

• Original tuners
• White pickguard
• 3 pickups, pickup covers have really aged and yellowed nicely over the years
• Black hard plastic Fender case
• Guitar weighs 8 pounds
• Original fully intonatable bridge [some wear to the chrome]

Guitar has some dings around the edges, see the photos - they tell the story.  Here is a brief description:

• small area of rash [where underlying gold leaf undercoat shows through] on front of upper horn about 1/4 inch by 3/4 inch
• small area of rash 1/4 by 3/4 inch by lower bout [where your arm goes over the body if you're sitting down]
• 3 small areas on the bottom side of the body, smaller than the 2 areas on top; there is a hairline crack in the finish about 4" long on the bottom side of the bottom as well
• a couple of dings on the top side of the fingerboard, see photo #8 [doesn't impact playability]

Some people get wigged out by cosmetics; I don't ... but as this guitar is not cosmetically perfect, I feel that I should disclose all the imperfections. That being said, the finish is intact, no real "chip" or "dings" that go to the wood, just some small areas of rash, where it looks like the guitar got bumped or something.

Guitar has been professionally set up and plays and sounds great.
