Item specifics
Condition: UsedBrand: Fender USA
Type: Telecaster

This Tele started it's life as a 2002 nitro finished USA Highway one. Along the way it picked up some cool, tasty mods! Plays nice, sounds hot! Reasonable reserve.

Check it out!

Pickups - Seymour Duncan stl-2 hot tele bridge pickup for fat, ballsy tele tone (neck pickup is a Fender usa hot tele alnico)

Controls- Fender American Standard delta tone/no load control. Vintage style switch tip.

Bridge- Wilkinson bridge with compensated brass saddles.

Neck- VERY cool USA custom guitars 24 3/4 scale converstion neck. Ebony fingerboard. It's also a compound radius neck, going from a comfy vintage 7.25 to a modern Fender style 9 1/2 radius. Jumbo frets. Graphite nut. A vintage 'nocaster' style sticker found it's way onto the headstock. If you went to buy this neck new (with satin finish) it'd cost well over 300 dollars plus shipping. These necks are USA made and rival with Warmoth for quality. Here's a link to USA custom guitars:

As you can see, this is a nice looking guitar, but it IS used & not cosmetically perfect! If you're looking for a perfect new guitar, thanks for stopping by, but keep on looking. There's chips, dings, finish wear, etc. A little buckle rash on the back, but it's not through the finish. Most of it's too small to be picked up by the camera. It originally had a different set of tuners on it, and you can see where the old holes have been filled. The tuners help hide the holes. It also appears that the nocaster sticker may cover up the location of a string tee, it's hard to tell for sure, but figured I should mention it.  Neck is straight, truss rod works, and I have the action set to approx. 4/64's at the high e-string 12th fret and approx. 5/64's at the low e 12th fret. It'll ship with gig bag.

Q: GD: Hi. How does the balance, weight, and play feel on this tele with the nice replacement neck. thnx
A: Hi, Weight and balance are about the same, IMO. The shorter scale neck makes for easy string bending. Has a real nice feel to it. Thanks for your interest.

Q: How much fret wear is there and do you ship to canada?
A: Hi, the frets look almost new. No grooves, nicely crowned. I'll ship to Canada as long as the buyer is willing to cover the actual cost of shipping. Thanks for your interest.

Q: hi this may sound stupid, but what is the white "paper/cloth??" thanks rb
A: Hi RB, actaully a real good question, Bud! It's a piece of paper that I used to cover the decal. I've seen e-bay pull auctions over folks having Fender decals on Allparts, Warmoth necks, etc.. so I covered it in the... Continue reading
