This is one retired Fenton Glass gorgeous Burmese tall 10" Vase in excellent condition, still in its original Fenton box with certificates intact....Fenton ware #7557 UW.  Pure gold in the formula creates a blush of rose while uranium gives Burmese its yellow hue. It has been lovingly handpainted with the colorful "Papillon" (french for butterfly) decoration, accented w/ 22K gold paint to really set it off!  It is pictured on page # 141 of the reference book, "Fenton Glass Compendium, 1985-2001", by John Walk, with a book value of $250+. This is from the very limited 1999 "Connoisseur Series and is marked as such on the bottom. This outstanding item is one of those "must have" pieces for anyone who appreciates outstanding quality. Only 2500 pieces were made and this one is # 1609.
