This stunning Milk Glass & Aubergine Melon Vase was just released by Fenton, as part of their Summer 2008 releases.
Only 750 of these vases were made, and this one is #558.
The silver Fenton sticker is attached to the side.
It has never been displayed, and will come in the original Fenton Glass box.
This is the vase you will receive if purchased thru this auction.
This vase is special, as it is part of the Family Signature Series, and has inscribed signatures of nine Fenton family members.
The bottom also features the signature of J. K. (Robin) Spindler, the artist who painted the beautiful floral design.
Robin Spindler has been with Fenton as one of their noted and award-winning Designers for a long time.
The floral design is by Michelle Kibbe, and the painting goes all around the vase, on alternate melon ribs. Gold decoration accents other ribs and the neck of the vase.
The hand painting is excellent! This is a gorgeous vase.
