Here up for auction with NO reserve price, is a circa 1920, Asian carved ivory figure of a young God standing upon a five headed snake while playing his flute. It measures 6.90" tall (with stand) 5.25" tall (without stand), and 2" wide (without stand). The piece is very finely carved, with excellent detail, and grand artistic expression. The quality ivory carries a mellow patina to the backside, and a pronounced cross hatched grain. The condition is very good with a loss to the tail of the snake as shown...not really noticeable when displayed. Authenticity and condition are guaranteed with all of my items.
