Fine Retro 14K 2 Tone Gold Ruby Diamond Cocktail Ring

Overview:

Offered for sale is another fine example of the 1940s retro era.

This beautiful, solid 14k rose and white gold ring has 0.29 cts of old mine cut diamonds that are SI-1 clarity, I color. the diamonds are bezel and prong set in white gold. In addition, There are 6 round faceted prong set synthetic rubies that total 0.48 cts. Synthetic rubies were the norm for 1940s retro jewelry. These are in good condition with beautiful color. Only the diamonds are set in white gold, the rest of the ring is rose gold.

The ring weighs a substantial 6.9 grams, is in great vintage condition and looks wonderful on the hand.
