Item description : We finally came accross an Agano yaki tea bowl made by a great potter in the world, Mr Gen Kozuru (1928-). We have been looking for his work for a long time, so it is very lucky and excited for us to introduce his work on our shop. He moved his working place to the States and own his own Kiln in Boston now. Recently his career has been more apprecitaed in the overseas than the domestic market. The production date of the tea bowl is written on the back of the lid and it can be read as 9th of December 1977, ie, was made when he was 49 years old. It must be rare to come across his works like this tea bowl when it was made in his best age of his life as an artist. We are sure that it must be a collectible tea bowl even about Japanese tea bowl fans. His name is written on the lid with his stamp and stamped in the bottom of the item.
