The first page has some small flea bite nibbles ( see photo), the exterior is in excellent condition, with minor shelf wear and rubbing noted on the spine. This is an excellent vintage copy....pricing service calls and listing work to be done in 1954 on radio, televisions and phonographs. A real slice of memorabilia for a collector to own.
this can be sent by media mail with insurance, just make the request at checkout time. It weighs about a 1lb packed.

This item will be shipped to you in any manner you choose at its actual packaged weight cost, in lieu of the estimated weight of the item shown below. The shipping and handling price below is for priority mail and includes a domestic handling fee of $2.00 for packing materials, time, gas, etc and $5.00 for international handling, which includes the task of filling out custom's forms. Insurance is required for international sales and is already included in the priority mail international price for auction values under $70, there will be an additional charge for values that are not covered.
By bidding on this item you are agreeing to pay the shipping and handling cost quoted. Please do not bid if you intend to complain or leave low scores on our shipping and handling feedback ratings. If you believe I made a mistake, please contact me and request a refund, I can assure you it was NOT INTENTIONAL.
I recommend you purchase insurance for all your purchases, I can not be responsible for items lost or stolen by the post office. I do purchase delivery confirmation, so I have tracking information, if you have any questions as to when your item was mailed. Please feel free to ask, No reason to worry needlessly. Most items are shipped within 24 hours of payment wherever possible, but will definitely be shipped within 3 business days, NO EXCEPTIONS.
For International sales:
Import duties, taxes and charges are not included in the item price or shipping charges. These charges are the buyer's responsibility.
These charges are normally collected by the delivering freight (shipping) company or when you pick the item up – do not confuse them for additional shipping charges.
We do not mark merchandise values below value or mark items as "gifts" - US and International government regulations prohibit such behavior.
Please check with your country's customs office to determine what these additional costs will be prior to bidding/buying.
please note that if you use the shipping calculator, it is configured for domestic handling costs only and it also does always compute international rate properly. I would therefore, appreciate it, if you would wait to be invoiced the proper cost.

NOTICE TO MY CUSTOMERS AND FUTURE CUSTOMERS:
HANDLING FEES: are based on time, materials, gas to post office and other overhead costs in running my EBAY store. If you are not comfortable with my handling fee, which is hardly an unreasonable amount, considering the effort I put forth on behalf of my customers, please don't purchase my items and then give me a low DSR rating in the Shipping and Handling category, without FIRST, notifying me, if you believe that I have made a mistake. I am not trying to make money on S&H fees.
That is just MEAN SPIRITED and hurts my auction's standings in the EBAY search function. Ebay is a personal sales site, I am not a Big Power Seller and can not afford to absorb the cost of shipment to you more than PayPal takes in its fees at check out.
On lower priced items this handling fee absorbs the fees associated with ebay listings, ebay fees and paypal fees that would otherwise make those particular listings and Item's availability on Ebay....not worth my effort or time. I also can not personally do anything about what the Post Office charges for mailing.
Please consider all of the above before giving me a low grade that lowers my search ranking...IT ONLY TAKES ONE TO THROW OFF MY ENTIRE AVERAGE....especially, when I as a seller am not even given the courtesy of the reason for the low rating, nor is it clear in the FEEDBACK, I do see.
I make a great effort to get your package to the post office in a TRULY EXPEDIENT MANNER and have been eating the additional postage costs when the shipping calculator on EBAY is not correct or my weight estimates are underweight, which happens frequently.
While online purchase of postage, does give a small 5 cent discount to users, this is engineered to cover the cost of my printer's ink, glue and paper used in the process!!! If you are concerned about Postage Costs, please email me prior to hitting the buy it now button, the postage calculator in known to make errors, which are not easily rectified after the fact.
Further, Please Note: Almost all the items that are sold in my auction are Vintage in Nature, even if they are new in the box....they are from my aunt's estate...I use my best ability to describe any faults I see, if you want more photos, please request them, I will be happy to provide them to you.
If an item is Mint to my eye, it still implies it has seen a baseline of wear due to it age.......VINTAGE. It has been around for awhile. Please ask any questions you have before bidding.
Also, if you have any complaints after purchase, please give me the opportunity to resolve them in a neighbourly manner prior to leaving me negative feedback....this has not yet occurred, but I would prefer it would not. Misunderstandings abound, in our world today, and while everyone is rushed, open discussion can elucidate what may at first appear to be a problem, IS ACTUALLY NOT. Thank you for Understanding. |
