 German Five Mark Cut Coin Key Ring

This real German coin has been hand cut by a craftsman with years of coin-carving experience. 

After a few holes have been drilled through the coin's surface, the eagle engraving has been cut around with a tiny jeweler's saw, leading to this stunning key ring.

It is a real Germany silver coin, and is not cast or machine created. The eagle design appears to be floating within the coin's rim, but is securely attached with a few special cuts leading to this stunning piece. The connections are thicker on the back side than the front side, providing this look.

The coin is about the size of a U.S. Half dollar.  The keyring portion is plated and has a milled thread barrel that tightens the key ring together, holding your keys securely, with a split ring upgrade to replace the thicker gauge ring shown to better secure your coin to the key ring.
