 This is an Antique Sheffield Rose Pewter of England hip Flask with corked screw cap.
It has the Shrine design.  It is not meant to be used as pewter has been found to be poisonous for drinking.About 5 inches high.
There are some dings and the seams in 2 places have separated about 1/4 inch by a hair. Just as well. 
It is well stamped by the famous maker and quite a collectors item.
