        This unit is under a year old!

        I upgraded my JVC GY-HD100 to the new JVC GY-HD200B and I now
        need a JVC branded drive.

        My loss is your gain!

        This drive has performed flawlessly for the 11 months I've owned it. I bought it new in August 07.

            It records HDV 720p 30f quicktime files or 1080i m2t files
            as well as all kinds of DV files.

           No more searching through tapes for specific takes - you just plug the drive into
           your computer, dump the files in and you're ready to edit!
           It's an amazing way to work!!
