HAND PAINTED ORIGINAL WHIMSICAL FOLK ART CHRISTMAS SNOWMAN EARRINGS by KP

Up for auction is this one of a kind hand-painted folk art snowman bead earrings topped with a genuine STERLING SILVER whimsical hat!  The hooks and even the head pin are genuine sterling.    

Each bead starts as an unfinished wooden ball bead which is layered with two coats of gesso and then layered and highlighted all by free handusing a super fine brush. 

I DO NOT use references, copy, utilize stencils, pens, or even a pencil to create these little snow scene beads~each one evolves through the painting process. 

I only use Golden Acrylic artist high-quality gesso's, pigments and paints.    For protection, each bead has two coats of a high quality polyuerthane high gloss sealer for a super glass like shine.

The snowman earrings measures 2 and 1/8 inches long; and the snowman bead measures 3/4s of an inch across.
